From Quebec, we took the train over to Halifax, Nova Scotia. A 17 hour journey, which turned out to be our worst train journey yet. Hardly any sleep and the train was almost full. No spare seats to lounge about on this time! Halifax was a nice place and we had a great time here. We visited the Atlantic Maritime Museum and also the Citadel. The museum has an excellent Titanic exhibition, featuring items rescued from the tragic ship. There's also some very interesting footage from the 'Halifax Explosion'. The Citadel was great, too. The Scots Guards (not real ones) were there and we also went on a guided tour of the citadel and the guards living quarters. I'm glad we're not staying in them. 20 beds in 1 tiny room.
